Free play/Explore
This time is used to allow the students to interact with one another, use our dramatic play center, and ease into the day.
8:15-8:30
Morning Meeting
Our morning meeting helps us engage as community members by going over the calendar, our schedule and seeing what classroom jobs everyone has.
8:30-9:00
Special of the Day
Depending on the day the students will go to gym class, art, or music
9:00-9:30
Snack
This time is critical to expand the students' social-emotional skill with their peers and their interactions with adults.
9:30-10:40
Project Time/Free Choice Time
At this time, the student will participate in a variety of activities that promote the use of mathematical skills, literacy concepts, sensory skills, dramatic arts, and inquiry-based learning.
10:45-11:15
Outside Time
Depending on the weather, the students will go for a walk, play on the CKS playground or walk to Chalahan Park
11:20-12:00
Lunch
This time is critical to expand the students' social-emotional skill with their peers and their interactions with adults.
12:00-2:00
Rest Time
All students are expected to rest or sleep unless asked not to by their caretaker or guardian. Students who do not fall asleep or ones who are asked not to sleep are able to participate in quiet activities during this time.

Story/Music Time
Students interact with essential literacy concepts while intersecting this learning with social/ emotional skills in a group environment
2:30-2:45
Prepare for Dismissal
Students head home to get some rest from a day full of learning!
