Ms. Denise's Preschool Class

Preschool is a time for exploration and discovery while providing "a community of love and care and to foster a respect for self and others". We use a play based approach  to learning where we facilitae learning through play in our preschool classroom.  We offer open-ended experiences that allow students to practice their agency, develop their own autonomy and develop a positive disposition towards learning.

Children are actively encouraged to use different learning styles to develop their skills  among the domains of the Vermont Early Learning Standards:

Social Emotional Development

Language, Literacy and Communication

Mathematics

Science

Social Studies

Creative Expression

Physical Health and Development

The preschoolers are also able to be a part of the school community by partaking in Physical Education, Art, Library, and Music class.
